Sufi Teachings! Sufism is a Way to God-Realization, the experience of peace, joy and satisfaction in the heart, through surrender to Divine Love. Sufis extinguish themselves in their love for the Divine. This is not a loss but a rebirth of one's true self in God. The pillars of the Sufi path are relationship with one's teacher, the remembrance practice, reading the teachings, prayer, and personal growth. Much of it is done in community. The practices are designed to carry the traveler through the stations of the self, heart, soul, and secret. These are the 4 layers of the heart the seeker must travel through in order to reach one's essential self. We use the remembrance as other paths use meditation. Sidi's written teachings help us understand where we are in our walking and what we need to go to the next level. We teach people how to grow through everyday experiences, using our experiences to support our spiritual walking.
